WE'RE BAAAAAACK!

IN this episode we dive into some D&D 3.5! Happy 40th Dungeons and Dragons! We are playing a WotC module, the burning plague! It's one of my personal favorites. It really feels like a 1st level module... even though there may or may not be an TPK in this episode... Stay tuned for part 2!

Sorry for the long delay in getting another episode out. We have not been gaming at all, so we are not keeping anything from you. We are back though, so you can expect an episode every week again! Keep listening for more D&D goodness... BTW, i just picked up the 5e starter set, so we will be getting to that sometime soon, as well as the 0e module that started it all

It's been awhile... But I am glad to report, we will be gaming again starting on June 6th! HUZZAH!!! I'm not 100% sure on what we're playing, but there will be a game, and an Actual Play to go along with it. Sorry for the drought. Life got in the way.

Hello fellow GAMESTERS!

We sat down to game last night, but character creation took the whole session, so we do not have a game to post this week. However, Braden will be running a GURPS game for us  next week. Coming up on gamestersrpg, Brad will be running a D&D 3.5 campaign, in honor of D&D's 40th anniversary! Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and get some more old school D&D this year too!  Stay tuned for more games, and more episodes. Our next episode will be Min/Maxing VS. Optimization. Episode 02 - How To Derail A Podcast

We often get derailed during our actual plays, but this is a great example of how to derail an episode! we start with the topic "system vs. system, genre vs. genre" and i don't think we ever got around to actually talking about it. Brad goes off on a tangent about actors he hates, Braden start to make his own system half way through, and it just gets more off topic from their! Thoroughly entertaining, but not way off the grid.

The PC's still have no idea what's going on as they are drug to the police station. Will they find answers? Will they be booked for being accomplices, and what happened to Eric Blunderbooth?

In this, our first REAL episode of Gamesters RPG, we discuss whether or not the system is important. Brad ponders if a game would work in a different rule set. We briefly talk about live action Rocky Horror Picture Show, and just get waaaayyy off topic. At the end, we manage to come full circle.

In this installment, we try to test out a new system, RISUS , with the SLEEPWALKERS setting, but we get derailed very fast. We spend the rest of the session talking about games, gaming, and GM tips. We kinda enjoyed it, so you may see more actual 'episodes' in the future. Of course, they will have more structure...
